Tourist health care
During their stay in Dalmatia County, tourists have a right to health care in
the Public Health Centers (Dom zdravlja), outpatient clinics, and hospitals.
The prices are nominal and correspond to the prices for Croatian citizens.
Visitors from the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Poland, Hungary and
Great Britain need only to bring their passport with them.
Tourists from other countries, for example, Austria, Germany, Italy, Holland,
and Belgium, should be in possession of the proper form in addition to their
passports. Slovenian quests can use their health cards. For treatment in
private establishments, visitors pay the same as locals

There is veterinary office in Split (Tell 021-338 450), which offers treatment
including laboratory and X-ray examinations. Working hour's 7:30 till 12:00
a.m. and 4:30 till 6:30 p.m. Other veterinary stations: Trogir (Tell 881 429),

Nautical tourism
The owner or driver of boat over three meters in length and with a motor over
4 kw must, immediately after entering Croatian territorial waters, register their
arrival and stay with the next appropriate port authority, in so far as they
intend on traveling along the coastline and to the islands. Water vehicles
arriving by way of land can be registered with any port authority. The boat
driver is required to register all people on board.
