| Vodice is a town and harbour in northern Dalmatia, 11 km northwest of Sibenik. Chief occupations are farming, fishing and tourism. The inhabitants of Vodice pay special attention to nature and environmental protection (forestation project "One Thousand Palms"). Along with a variety of accommodation capacities - hotels, apartments, campsites, the extraordinary rich catering offer made Vodice a very popular summer resort. There are more than 100 catering establishments in Vodice, half of them offering various food (fish, mussels, crabs, pasta, traditional cuisine), including the old and original Dalmatian dishes. |

temperatures are relatively high but milded by Maestral wind (blows from sea toward

Bilusic buk, Roski slap and Skradinski buk). There are two national parks in the
Sibenik region, Krka and Kornati.
